  LESSON 5 ON THE BUS 1.   Where are the people on the bus going? The people on the bus going to Agra.   2.   What do you think Mrs. Soni is dreaming about? Mrs. Soni is dreaming of the Taj Mahal.   3.   Why does the bus stop? The bus stops because a cow is blocking the road.   4.   How do the people try to make the cow move? The people (get out of the bus and) shout at the cow to make it move.   5.   How does Mrs. Soni try to make the cow move? Mrs. Soni waves her umbrella to make the cow move.   6.   What does the driver do? The driver claps his hands to make the cow move.   7.   Who make the cow move? How? Shami makes the cow move by offering it some grass.

I, we, you, he, she, it and they are called personal pronouns.   3.      What is personal pronouns of the first person? Pronouns that stand for the persons speaking are called pronouns of the first person. Ex. I am Rahul   4.      What is personal pronouns of the second person? Pronouns that stand for the person spoken to are called pronouns of the second person. Ex. You study in my class.     5.      What is personal pronouns of the third person? Pronouns that stand for the person spoken about are called pronouns of the third person. Ex. He is an engineer.
