THE PRONOUNS

 

1.     What is called pronouns?

A word that is used instead of a noun is called a pronoun.

 

2.     What is called personal pronouns?

I, we, you, he, she, it and they are called personal pronouns.

 

3.     What is personal pronouns of the first person?

Pronouns that stand for the persons speaking are called pronouns of the first person.

Ex. I am Rahul

 

4.     What is personal pronouns of the second person?

Pronouns that stand for the person spoken to are called pronouns of the second person.

Ex. You study in my class.

 

 

5.     What is personal pronouns of the third person?

Pronouns that stand for the person spoken about are called pronouns of the third person.

Ex. He is an engineer.
