2.     What is a plural noun?

When a noun represents more than one person, animal or thing, it is called plural noun. A noun that denotes more than one person or thing is said to be in plural form.

 

3.     How plurals are formed? Give two examples.

The plurals of nouns are generally formed by adding‘s’ to the singular.

a.     Rat                     rats

b.     Dog          -           dogs.
