1. What do you understand by mail
merge?
Mail merge is a trait in MS Word
that is used to generate numerous modified letters. It saves a lot of time, as
you do not need to change the information for the new addressee again and
again.
2. What are the words opposite in
meaning to each other called? How
can you correct the spelling and grammatical errors in MS Word?
Antonyms are the words with the
opposite meaning. To correct the error, right-click on the marked word to look
for various options available and select the correct one. Click on the correct
spelling or phrase. The corrected word or phrase will appear in the document.
3. Write the basic types of
spellings and grammatical errors in MS Word.
MS Word underlines the different
types of errors in different colours.
a. The red wavy line shows spelling
errors.
b. The blue wavy line shows a
grammatical mistake.
4. How can you set language in MS
Word?
To set language means to tell MS
Word that the words and grammar are to be checked according to a dictionary of
the language you are referring to. To set langue in MS Word click on the Review
tab then click on language to open the drop-down list and click set proofing
language and select the language.
