A solution is formed when two or more

solvent.

is the difference between soluble and insoluble substances?
The substances which dissolve
completely in water are called soluble substances. The substances which do not
dissolve in water at all are called insoluble substances.

Why
does some of the objects float on water while some sink in water?
Objects lighter than water remains on
surface of water. This is called floating. On the other hand objects heavier
than water go down to the bottom. This is called sinking.
