INTRODUCTION TO CIVICS

1.     Define civics:-

Civics deals with the rights and duties of the citizens of a country as well the working of the government of that country.

 

2.     What does civic sense mean?

Civic sense means social ethics. It refers to the unspoken duty of a person towards the society.

 

3.     What is citizenship?

Citizenship is the status of a person recognised under the law established by the sovereign country. In general citizenship is quite close to the nationality of a person.

 

4.     Mention two characteristics of a good neighbour:-

1.     A good neighbour are the people who can reach you before all your relatives and well-wishers in case of emergencies.

2.     The neighbours are our closest help.

 

5.     Why do we need to be good citizens?

A good citizen contributes towards the growth and prosperity of a country. So, we all need to be a good citizens.
