‘Leisure’ means a time to rest and relax from work.

 

2.  What do you think the following phrases mean?

i.         Full of care – having work and responsibilities, troubled, worried.

ii.        Streams full of stars – reflected light sparkling on the surface of moving water.

iii.      Broad daylight – during the day, when things can easily be seen.

 

3.  Which stanza do you think is the most important?

4.  In the fifth stanza, beauty is mentioned with a capital B. Beauty is treated like a person. What does beauty do like a person?

Beauty looks (glances), dances, and smiles like a person.
