HISTORY


1.  Define history.

History is a record of the past events n a sequential order. It is the study of the past. It gives  us a detailed account of the people who lived before us. History has been divided into three period for the sake of better understanding. A person who studies and writes about the past is known as a historian.

 

2.  What does history teach us?

History teaches us to act better in present by learning from the past happenings.

 

3.  Who is a historian?

A person who studies and writes about eh past and is considered an authority on it is known as a historian. Historians are experts in history.

 

4.  How are coins an important source of history?

Coins are one of the most important sources of history. Because they give information about the names and pictures of the kings and queens. The date on the coin tells us about the period of their rule.

 

5.  How can we preserve the sources of history?

The sources are kept in a secured way at places like the museums and the National Achieves of India, New Delhi.
