1. What is formatting?
Formatting makes a text look attractive, organized and easy to
read.
2. How can you replace the sample
text with your own text after inserting the cover page?
After inserting a cover page we can replace the sample text with
our own text by clicking to select an area of the cover page, such as the title,
and typing our text.
3. What is alignment? How many
type of alignment are there? Name them.
Aligning the text mean arrangement of text within the margins. Text
can be aligned in four different ways. They are:
a. Left aligned
b. Right aligned
c. Center aligned
d. Justified aligned
4. Write the steps to print a
document using MS Word.
a. Click on the file tab
b. Click on print
c. Set each settings options
according to your need.
d. Specify the number of copies
e. Click on print
5. Water are watermarks?
A watermark is an image or text that appears behind the main
text of the document. It is usually a lighter shade than the text.
6. How can you add border to a
page?
Boarders add a finishing touch after a document has been
written. It help to provide emphasis on various parts of the document. To add
page boarder to a document.
a. Click on design tab
b. Click on page borders button
c. Click on page border tab
d. Click the box setting, line
style
e. Click on OK
