INTRODUCTION TO MS WORD 2013
1. What is word wrap?
While typing text, we do not have to press the enter key after
each line. The cursor moves automatically from one line to the next line when
we reach the end of the line. This feature is called the word wrap.
2. How will you open an existing
document?
a. Click on the file
b. Click on open
c. The open dialog box opens
d. Click on the open button.
3. What is the difference between
copying text and moving text?
Copying means to create a duplicate copy of the selected text. The
selected text remains at both the location after copying. Moving means to shift
the selected text to another location. The selected text is deleted its
original location after moving.
4. Name any two popular word
processors.
a. Microsoft word perfect
b. Word pad
5. Write steps to save a file for
the first time.
a. Click on the file tab
b. Lick on the save as
c. Click on brows
d. Click on save.
6. Briefly explain the Ruler.
There are two rulers – horizontal ruler and vertical ruler. The horizontal
ruler is present at the top of the document area. It is used to set left and
right margins. The vertical ruler is present to the left of the document area. It
is used to set top and bottom margins of a page.
