1.  How will you insert tables in a slide?

Click on the insert tab, click on the table command, move your mouse pointer to select columns and rows and click the mouse. The tables will appear on the slide.

 

2.  What is a hyperlink?

A hyperlink is a text or a graphic image that you can click when viewing a slide to jump to another slide, presentation, a document or website.

 

3.  How will you trim an audio file in a presentation?

To trim an audio file click on the play back tab under the audio tools. Click on the trim audio command to open the trim audio dialog box.  Click and drag the green handle to the position from where you want to start the audio. Click and drag the red handle to the position to where you want to end the audio. Click on the play button to listen to your selection. And click on ok button.

 

4.  Write any five tips for delivering an effective presentation.

a.   Know your audience well and prepare a presentation keeping their interests in mind

b.  Have good knowledge of your subject

c.   Collect information from the reliable sources

d.  Keep your text simple

e.   Practise it well.

 

5.  What is an action button?

An action button is an extraordinary type of Auto shape that creates a button on a slide. The user can describe the action to be done by the button when clicked.

 

6.  What are templates? When are they used?

Templates are the default themes and text arrangements that are already designed in power point.
