OPERATING A COMPUTER

 

1.  Name any two operating system.

2.  How will you arrange icons on the desktop?

Right click on an empty space of your desktop, move the mouse pointer to the view option on the shortcut menu, another menu with several options opens, and choose Auto- arrange icons’ option.

 

3.  Write the steps involved in changing the wallpaper.

To change the wallpaper, we follow these steps: right-click on desktop. Click on the personalize option, in the personalization gallery, click desktop background. Now, click on the wallpaper of your choice and click on save changes.

 

4.  What is system tray?

System tray is located in taskbar and it contains miniature icons for easy access.

 

5.  What are the main parts of the desktop?

The main parts of the desktop are Icons, start button, gadgets taskbar and wallpaper.
