1.   Why do we communicate?

We communicate to share our feelings with others.

 

2.   Name any two ways of communication. Give one example of each.

There are many ways of communication.

a.   Oral communication – Mobile phone

b.   Written communication – SMS

 

3.   What are the modern devices that help in communication? Give one example of each.

Modern devices that help in communication are:

a.    Computers – E-mails

b.    mobile phones – Wi-Fi

c.    Internet – video chat

 

4.   List any two advantages and any two disadvantages of using the modern devices.

Two advantages of modern devices:

a.   Help us to connect with people very fast.

b.   We get to know the news very fast

Two disadvantages of modern devices:

a.   Too much use of these devices results in wastage of time.

b.   They can strain our eyes as its rays are harmful.
