Nehru was born November 14, 1889, at Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. He was born to Swaruprani Thussu and Motilal Nehru, a wealthy lawyer and a freedom fighter.

 

3.  What did Subhas Chandra Bose form?

Subhas Chandra Bose took part in the freedom struggle with Gandhiji and soon became the voice of the young people. He organised a number of youth movements in the country. He also formed the Azad Hind Fauz (Indian National Army)

Sardar Patel played an important role to unite the princely states into the Indian Union.
