MASCULINE AND FEMININE NOUNS


1.  What is masculine gender?

A noun that denotes a male person or an animal is said to be of the masculine gender.

Ex. Boy

 

2.  What is feminine gender?

A noun that denotes a female person or an animal is said to be of the feminine gender

Ex. Girl

 

3.  What is common gender?

A noun that denotes both male and female is said to be or common gender.

Ex. Child

 

4.  What is neuter gender?

A noun that denotes a thing that is neither male nor female is said to be of neuter gender
